Sun
SuryaSoul fire, identity, authority, divine center
The Sun is not just identity. It is the part of the being that says: I exist, I choose, I radiate, I lead. It shows the central flame of the chart, the place where consciousness wants to become sovereign. In a strong expression, the Sun gives dignity, clarity, confidence, purpose, leadership, and the ability to organize life around a meaningful center.
In a shadow expression, the Sun becomes pride, domination, insecurity disguised as control, or the need to be seen without having developed true inner authority. A weak or afflicted Sun can show difficulty owning one's path, issues with father figures, problems with confidence, or a life where the person must learn to generate their own light instead of waiting for permission.
In deeper interpretation, the Sun shows where the soul must become visible. It is not always comfortable. The Sun burns away false identities until only the real purpose remains.
Sidereal Sun is read as the atman/solar authority through the exact sidereal sign, degree, and nakshatra context. It emphasizes dharma, vitality, rulership, father/authority themes, and the visible path of purpose.
