Refund Policy
Last updated: September 4, 2026 | Version 2026-09-04-r5
This Refund Policy is issued by TimeMatrix LLC and applies to TimeMatrix Charts paid subscriptions and any future trials, add-ons, or other purchases. Production Stripe Checkout currently offers the monthly and annual TimeMatrix Membership. The checkout page or a written order form presented for a purchase states the controlling price, billing period, renewal, cancellation, and any offer-specific refund terms.
1. Digital Access
TimeMatrix is a digital service, and paid access may begin immediately after purchase or activation. Except where the checkout terms say otherwise or law requires otherwise, charges are final and non-refundable after the applicable access period begins.
2. Cancellation
You may cancel future automatic renewal using the billing controls identified at checkout or in your account. Cancellation stops future renewal and ordinarily leaves access available through the end of the paid period. It does not automatically refund a prior charge or the unused portion of the current period.
A cancellation is effective when the Service or payment processor confirms it. Keep the confirmation for your records and contact us if the account status does not match it.
3. Automatic Renewal and Trials
Before collecting billing information for a recurring plan, the checkout flow must disclose the charge, billing frequency, trial or promotional period, renewal terms, and cancellation method and obtain express consent. A trial converts to paid access only as disclosed at enrollment.
Cancel before the disclosed conversion or renewal time if you do not want the next charge. Required renewal reminders and cancellation rights will be provided according to applicable law.
4. Billing Errors and Unauthorized Charges
Contact us promptly if you believe a charge was duplicated, unauthorized, made after confirmed cancellation, or otherwise incorrect. Include the account email, charge date, amount, processor or invoice identifier, and a description. Do not send a full card number or security code.
We will investigate and correct verified billing errors. A request should be made within 30 days when practical, but this request period does not waive a longer non-waivable right under applicable law.
5. Monthly and Annual Plans
Monthly and annual charges are generally non-refundable once the billed access period starts. We do not ordinarily prorate a period after voluntary cancellation, downgrade, non-use, loss of interest, or failure to cancel before renewal.
If a specific annual plan includes a cooling-off period, money-back guarantee, or prorated refund, that term will be stated at checkout and will control for that purchase.
6. Service Changes and Interruptions
Routine maintenance, temporary interruptions, provider outages, market closures, data corrections, device incompatibility, or removal of a non-material feature do not automatically create a refund right. For a material prolonged failure of paid access caused by TimeMatrix, we may provide a service credit, extension, or refund at our discretion unless law or written plan terms require a specific remedy.
7. Suspended or Terminated Accounts
A user is not entitled to a refund merely because access is suspended or terminated for fraud, payment abuse, unlawful conduct, a material violation of the Terms, or misuse of market-data rights. This does not limit remedies required by law or claims concerning an incorrect suspension.
8. Third-Party Purchases
A purchase processed through a third-party marketplace, reseller, app store, or billing provider may need to be refunded through that party under its procedures. The checkout record will identify the merchant or processor responsible for the transaction.
9. Refund Method and Timing
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment processor and financial institution. Taxes are refunded only to the extent required or supported by the applicable transaction and law.
10. Chargebacks
Contact us first when practical so we can investigate. We may restrict an account while a charge is disputed and may suspend accounts used for fraudulent chargebacks. Nothing here prevents you from exercising a lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect charge.
11. Mandatory Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits a non-waivable refund, cancellation, cooling-off, or consumer-protection right. Where this Policy conflicts with mandatory law, the mandatory law controls.
Some jurisdictions provide a cooling-off or withdrawal period for online services. If applicable law permits that right to end after immediate digital performance begins, TimeMatrix will rely on that exception only when the required checkout disclosures, express request, acknowledgment, and confirmation were provided. Otherwise, the applicable mandatory withdrawal right remains available.
12. Contact
Refund and billing questions may be sent through the Contact page or to admin@timematrixcharts.com. Include the account email, charge date, amount, and transaction identifier, but never send complete payment-card details.
